Our Mission

We will change the world.

Medicine Hat has a beautiful trail system that everyone wants to ride on. Not everyone can afford a new bike, not everyone knows how to fix one. That’s where we come in!

A group of volunteers supported by donations from the community take old sad beat up bikes and fix them up into shiny new rides for families in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

By giving more people reliable rides, we will improve the overall health of our community, as well as a small part of a families financial investments in their kids. Kids grow fast and outgrow bikes in a year sometimes, so we want to help families keep up! I got #HANDMEDOWNS in my family, and I was proud to own something that someone else had proven to be a winner!

We might even be able to help get some folks off the streets. We will be interacting with the community downtown and making sure people know about all the resources available. Who knows, maybe someone comes in to work on a broken bike, and ends up finding a community that recognizes them, so they decide to quit drugs… It could happen!

We want to work with all of the community organisations to help identify families that can use our bikes! We will keep some bikes at The Medicine Hat and District Food Bank as well!
